For the record, I predicted that we would go 7-4 on
August 23, 2005. See my message below. Although my
prediction of how we got to 7-4 is quite different
from reality.

Jim,

I almost totally agree with you except:
(1) We will win at home at NIGHT against Michigan.
(2) We will shock the college football world by
beating the Buckeyes at the Shoe.
(3) After a fantastic win at Ohio State, the Cats just
cannot get up to the Illinois game. We will be beaten
by the Illini at their home.

So my prediction is 7-4.

Yes, I know we have a tough schedule. I know Howard,
Jordan, Horn, Heinz, Rees, ... are out. But I am
optimistic. I look at everything through my
purple-tinted glasses. I am drinking purple cool-aid
as I type this message.
