Oh, I agree OSU is more *deserving*, but the secondary
BCS bowls are rarely about deserving, which is why
Oregon won't be going anywhere in the BCS. It's about
tickets and ratings ...

... agreed. If you're looking to fill seats, you
invite ND, Michigan, OSU or an SEC power. However,
since the Fiesta would already have Notre Dame to sell
the tickets, they may want the best TV grab possible.
And while OSU/ND is a good ole' midwestern shootout,
it doesn't have the storied rivalry past of Catholics
vs. Convicts.
Just an early gut reaction - we'll see how these
things shake out. SC escaped last night, Miami didn't.
Texas still visits Aggieland. And LSU has a SEC title
game in Georgia's backyard. So the only one in the
clubhouse waiting now is PSU.
Hopefully in the long run the power of the Big Ten
wins out and we all move up to a better bowl with OSU
in Tempe, but Miami losing may have thrown a wrench
into those plans.
GO CATS!!!
