[NU Sports] when will we know?

A weak Illinois an up 400 plus yards against Randy Walker's defense.
With a 7-4 record, I just hope that we don't end up in a bowl game that
results in an Alamo Bowl type blow out. The ESPN announcers had it
right, without Basanez, NU would have had a pretty poor season given the
lack of defense.
My conclusion is that we're stuck with Walker and that the only hope is
that either some other school comes after him or that Mark Murphy tells
him to get at least a new defensive coordinator. Pat Fitzgerald is
probably up to the job now. He certainly wouldn't be worse than what we
have now.
