[NU Sports] NU ranked No. 13 nationally!!!!!

In wrestling, of course. 

As the list's resident mathead I apologize for the
digression from football with Illinois two days away
(63-10 would be a lovely day),  but NU's
rapidly-improving wrestling team is ranked No. 13 by
Intermat nationally and had a good showing at the
Michigan State open to start the season this weekend.

NU also signed two more solid HS seniors this week --
this is a young team and the future is bright!

NU faces a tough road in the BT -- we may be No. 13
but 5 BT teams are ranked ahead of us. Still, I think
a winning BT season, the first in years, is possible,
and Jake Herbert will be a contender for a national
crown.

This team is getting  better by leaps and bounds every
season and will be fun to watch. If you get the
chance, take in a wrestling match and support a bunch
of Wildcat student-athletes achieving at the highest
level. Go 'Cats!!!
