I probably should have also mentioned BYU which did win a natioanl title in 
'84 and I supect maintians high academic standards for its players.  But they 
have a special advantage in that  just about any Mormon kid who is a good 
athlete growing up has as his dream to play for BYU--I don't think we can replicate 
that- advantage-not to mention they don't play in nearly as  competitive 
conference as we do and therefore rarely have an opportuntiy to go to a top bowl
