[NU Sports] A ray of hope for our special teams

Finally picking up a solid kicker would help our special teams play,
but it wouldn't be the end all solution as we'll still need good
coverage on punts and kickoffs (at least once in a while if we can't
get a touchback). Also, will this guy punt and kick (Huffman did on
occasion, although we all know his FG woes)?

We need help in both areas, although Howells has been relatively solid
this year (including hitting 5/6 vs. PSU), but we still don't see too
many touchbacks on kickoffs. I don't think I've seen any high booming
kicks like Michigan and Iowa got off, although our punters have done a
good job with directional punts on occasion - especially when they
were trying to stick the opponent in their own end.

Any small boost will help, though, as our special teams play is what
gave Michigan, Iowa, and OSU a big edge in the past weeks (just look
at the average drive starting position for NU and their opponent in
those games).
