[NU Sports] bowl choices

For me at least, it's precisely because we're headed to a "minor" bowl
that I'm hoping we're headed to Nashville. If we were headed to the
Rose Bowl, for instance, I'd be willing to shell out the bucks to make
the trip.
But I'm much less likely to spend the money to travel to some far-flung
destination (like Hawaii) to see us play in a minor bowl. Nashville is
a fairly short and inexpensive trip from Chicago, either by car or by
air, and I think we'd have a better showing there than somewhere out
west.
Not that I wouldn't mind a December trip to Hawaii, but it's not in
everyone's football budget.
