[NU Sports] The "Shoe"

>From what I recall in the "Purple Haze" of my youth, Woody and OSU would  
flex their muscle and leverage (in terms of attendance and power) to force poor  
little NU to go into the Bucks lair, since we couldn't draw flies compared to  
them--except when we sold out vs. Notre Dame in the first NU game I ever saw 
in  Sept., 1970, right before Freshmen Orientation Week.  We lost 35-14, but  
were tied 14-14 at the half, so my dad and I considered it a good result at 
the  time.
