All ND has to do is win out to secure the BCS bid. They are a lock if
they do and most likely will be in the Fiesta as it will have first pick
for losing Texas to the Rose Bowl. Somehow, the Big Ten doesn't get
compensated for losing the Rose Bowl to Texas but thems the rules. At
this point, OSU is a contender but probably not the strongest contender
for the remaining at large slot, but there are a lot of games left to be
played and we have seen that November has a way of killing many BCS
dreams. Just as an example, we have an excellent opporunity to bury
OSU's BCS hopes this weekend. As we head to Columbus, we will have the
cheers of fans from all over the South and throughout the state of
Oregon behind us as well as all good Cat fans.
