While I agree with you about Carr, all the UM fans I talk to have been
screaming for his head all year - even before the losses began to pile
up. I'm not sure a win over the Bucks will satisfy them. I think he
has overstayed his welcome with the Big Blue Faithful but, that said, I
don't see the UM administration retiring him. John L. has already been
hung in effigy several times in Lansing and as Sparty impoldes game by
game, the likelihood of his remaining coach for longer than one more
season seem dim. I think they give him one more chance to make it
right, but if he doesn't produce next year, he's gone. Mason has
nowhere to go; Tiller should go but PU won't fire him. Hoeppner was the
best hire IU has made in years and Illinois is well Illinois.
