[NU Sports] Another "Poll" Ranking For NU

In today's NY DAILY NEWS (p. 76), Dick Weiss, their excellent and  
experienced College beat guy, gives "Weiss' Top 25".  He has NU at No.  17.  Other BT 
teams are PSU at No. 3, tOSU at No. 7, Mich. at No. 15, and  Wisky at No. 16 
(That hurt).  
 
Perhaps the most interesting factoid about his rankings is that  RW is ahead 
of GB (as Colo. is No. 21), Bobby Bowden (FSU is NO. 20), and Steve  Superior 
(S.Car. is No. 23).  Also trailing the 'Cats are W.Va. (18), UCLA  (19), TCU 
(22), Fresno St. (24), and (sorry, Mark Ament) "the 'Ville"  (25).
 
Here's the rest of his leader board:  USC (1) , Texas (2) ,  Miami (4), Ala. 
(5), ND (6) , LSU (8), Ga. (9), Texas Tech (10), Va. Tech  (11--Oh, how the 
mighty have fallen in one week), Fla. (12), Ore. (13), and  Auburn (14). 
 
If we can somehow win in the 'Shoe, we will probably leapfrog into the Top  
10 in Mr. Weiss' "Poll".
