I think you mean "8 minutes left in the half" - but okay, I'll bite. We
were down two scores, and we punted from our own 26 yard line. Our
offense hadn't quite been clicking on the drive (a 3 and out) and we had
only scored once before that drive.
So your criticism of Walker is that he should've given Iowa a pretty good
chance to get the ball at our 26, when we were down two scores early in
the game.
I'd love to see your reasoning. Note that we had converted a 4th-and-1 on
the previous drive, so Iowa would've had a little look at how that worked.
Also, Tom - officially, the previous spot before the punt was 3rd and 4,
Ross Lane's catch made it 4th and 2.
