The rain didn't even *start* until midway through the third. It was a
cloudy, but otherwise beautiful day for pre-game tailgating and the first
half. At kickoff, the west stands looked pretty pathetic from the east
side, but they filled in nicely by midway through the opening quarter. Of
course, that included way too many bumblebees.

But if we had taken the ball in the first, we wouldn't have had it to open
the second, where we put together a rather nice scoring drive. But in
general, I agree with you. It's easier to play from ahead than it is from
behind, even if it is just one score. This is two weeks in a row that
we've gotten down 14-0 early, and three in a row where we've allowed a TD
on the opening drive of the game. I think if we win the toss at OSU, we
need to take the ball.
