With this offense, we should never, never defer after wining the toss.
We should always take the ball, march down the field, hopefully, and
lead the game off with a touchdown drive. There is nothing better than
to open the game by putting your opponent in a hole. Since our defense
has only shown fleeting moments, like on the last two Iowa possessions
today thankfully, of being able to stop anyone, never start on defense.
It just doesn't make sense.
That said, this was the best win of the year and sets up next week
nicely giving the team a great confidence boost to go into the Shoe.
It was not only great to see a comeback in the last minutes but in front
of 6 bowl reps according to the ESPN announcers. The announcers were
lousy but the HD pictures of Dyche/Ryan were great. It was just a great
day all around. next week's game has been announced for ABC at noon
eastern and appears to be a national telecast, not a regional one. Is
that correct?
