[NU Sports] Michigan comment

I think we got ourselves into positions where we couldn't run -- e.g., the holding penalties in the second half.
But I also think that the Sutton fumble in the first quarter was the turning point of the game -- that it totally changed the way our offense normally proceeds.
Hoping for a better offensive result this week. The defense certainly did its part against Michigan; hoping for the same against Iowa.

Yep. Football 101. You have to try to take something away, particular
against a team that can run and pass well.
I'm not so sure how successful they really were at actually stopping
the run, but they certainly got us into positions where running wasn't
really an option.

I forgot to mention that's the other thing I noticed watching the
tape--big time rush, mostly just from their front 4. So not only were
they able to get good pressure, but as Roy notes, they did it while
still having lots of guys back in coverage. That's a tough combination
to beat.

That's encouraging to hear. We definitely need a big supply of
"stick-em" though! :-)
What's the word on Iowa's offense? I know they struggled early, but
they seem to be doing better lately?
Tom
