[NU Sports] Michigan comment

Just to add a little to Roy's comment, I saw Carr's weekly wrap-up show on
the local cable channel.  He said that their defense played it's best game
all season.  Their plan was to take away the run and make NU a
one-dimensional team.  He didn't figure that their plan was going to work as
well as it did.  He also felt that Sutton's fumble was the turning point in
the game because slowed NU's momentum and gave his defense some confidence.
He said that he told his team at half-time that, except for three mistakes
which resulted in some big plays, he felt they played their best first half
of football all season and if they continued to stick to game plan,
eliminate the mistakes, and hold onto the ball they would win the game.  In
other words, the only people who can beat us is us.  I guess he knew what he
was talking about.  They challenged us to beat them with the pass and we
couldn't do it.

I think you can figure that all the rest of the teams that we are going to
play are going to try to do the same thing.  It's up to our O-line to
establish the run and it is up to our receivers to run good routes and catch
the ball.

On the lack of running by Baz [and others] in the 2nd half...

RW has been qwuoted all week as saying that you have a hard time rushing
against a team like Michigan [with a bunch of big guys in the box] when
you're 1st or 2nd and 20.

Those holding penalties really hurt and you see a new face at center this
week.
