[NU Sports] Northwestern Final Four history

Actrually, the subject line of this post is both a note of 
congraulations and good luck wishes for the lacrosse team as well as a 
question:  is this the first time Northwestern has ever made a final 
four in any sport?  I know we had some great tennis teams in the 1960's 
with Marty Riessen and Clark Graebner, but did we make the final four? 
 When we won the NCAA fencing championship in 1941, did they have a 
tournament?  In other words, is 2005 lacrosse a total first for NU? 
 Anyone know for sure?
