Regarding B-Ball, it's my fault. The Cats were 2 and 0 in home games I
attended (Iowa, Michigan). Should have gone to more games. At least I
picked two very exciting games!

I too was frustrated by a lot of what I saw this year, but I'm not
ready to declare this team heartless or gutless. Then again, I'm not
ready to offer any other real explanations either.

I think you'd really have to be very close to the team to really know
whether they simply didn't work hard enough, didn't care enough, or
simply bumped up against the collective limits of their skill and
athleticism. The reality is probably slightly different for each
player.

Lasting (good) memories of this year for me will include Vedran's
excellence, and the sheer desire displayed in Michael Jenkins' efforts
this season. We had the best "b-ball player per inch" last year in
Jitim Young, and MJ displayed that same "I don't care how much taller
you are" tenacity this year.

I will say that this Cat team is much better than many I've seen over
the years. I'm not ready to annoint Carmody the savior of NU b-ball
yet, but I do like the direction things are going, and I'm very happy
to have BC at the helm.

Regarding logos, I like the N-Cat logo too, but:

Agree 100%--I *love* our football helmets, and would be VERY sorry to
see them change.
