[NU Sports] Alvarez To Step Down After Season

I didn't see any posts on this news yet, so here goes: 
 
Barry Alvarez announced at a press conference today in Madison that he will  
step down as Head Coach of the Badgers' FB team after the 2005 season to serve 
 as full-time Athletic Director.  Anybody know where this will put  RW in 
terms of seniority in the Conference, assuming he outlasts Alvarez?
