[NU Sports] The flip-floppers in the White House...

Fellow Wildcat Faithful,

Ok, I realize one must consider the source, but while watching CNN's American
Morning today I saw a brief story about our Women's Lacrosse team visiting the
White House. Evidently, many of our young athletes wore flip-flops to the photo
ceremony with president Bush. Not the cheap $2 dollar ones, mind you, but
flip-flops all the same. 

Was this simply the fashion of the day, or perhaps a symbolic gesture to John
Kerry's slanderous campaign nickname? The answer is, no one cares, but it was a
funny story all the same.
