I gather from some of the quotes that he's fond of Luke and vice versa.,...
If the bear could swing something, he might have done it to get Luke in his
gourp for the final rounds.
Anyway, I'm a bit sorry that he didn't make the cut so al 3 could continue, but
I'm more sorry that Luke is now mired at 25th instead of 2nd where he was for a
while yesterday.
Go Luke, Go Cats.

I watched some of the AOL streaming video of "The Golden Bear's" farewell round
today at my office, and the British commentators were talking about how all of
the hoopla was a distraction for Luke. But I bet he will never forget the past
2 days and the honor of a lifetime he had in playing with Jack and Tom--two
all-time legends of golf. When Nicklaus called up his playing partners--and
their caddies--for a group shot at the Swilken Bridge on the 18th hole, it spoke
volumes about his class and sportsmanship. The man oozes dignity and is a true
champion--even if he is a Buckeye, which is hard for me to overlook.
