 Greetings from Singapore, everyone, and thanks, Paul, for the nice note.
 For those of you who are interested, the International Olympic Committee will vote next Wednesday on the site of the 2012 Games. The race is between Paris, London, Madrid, Moscow and New York.
 Don't think there's any Northwestern connection in any of the bid cities. The NY bid leader, Dan Doctoroff, is a Michigan guy. I'm working on convincing him of Northwestern's superiority in football.
