Yeah -- whatever it was, he really hurt the team. If it is an issue with
cutting class, kudos to Carmody for enforcing the rules. But Thompson
shouldn't need the reminder.

It's too bad, because we needed to break that losing streak. Certainly
there's no shame in losing at Ann Arbor and East Lansing and dropping a
home game to #1 Illinois, but we HAVE to beat the Penn States of the world
to have any postseason hopes. We needed Mike this weekend and he let the
team down big time.

With Thompson, we're a team capable of competing ... look at some of the
teams we've beaten. Indiana and DePaul in particular have looked pretty
solid lately.

Yeah - it's kind of sad when no one can grab a board and then 5'10" Jenkins
comes in and snags a hustle rebound three seconds off the bench. Vedran, TJ
and company need to start stepping up and getting the team focused.

Iowa's had some tough breaks lately ... it'd be nice to break the streak
against them this week.
