[NU Sports] Off season capers...

   Wildelk won't do this post justice, but I got to thinking, we've had some 
pretty good backs in these here parts for the last 20 years.  I need some help 
in compiling my list.  Please help...
for starters...Bob Christenson (85-88???)  this was "BI" before internet. NU 
news was scarce (if you live in Pennsylvania); I moved from Chicago in 1985... 
 Who carried the mail between Christenson and Lundy?  Anyway..
Christenson (85-88???)   pro: Atlanta for many years.
1988(?)- 1992: A little help here; I remember Len Williams passing or 
throwing on just about every down...
1993-94: Dennis Lundy.  The swine had a cup of coffee with the Bears in 95 
and 96.
1994-96: Darnell. DA1.  Stints with Chicago and Philadelphia.
1997     : Adrian Autry (AA). Ran for 900 yards; elected to decline a 5th 
year of eligibility.
1998-2000: The MAN. DA2.  3 year starter/special team/2nd string RB with the 
Arizona Cardinals.
2001-2003.  Another 3 year starter, Jason Wright.  Integrity and athleticism 
rolled into one.  Jason was activated on and off for Atlanta last year...
2004: Noah.  Just wait, he'll catch on somewhere...
2005: ????

>From 1993-2003 inclusive, I count 5 running backs, 4 of which have, or have 
had NFL service. I hope we are "pushing" these facts.  

Basketball:  Ahhhh, if the Big Ten Tourney was in Evanston...can we do it 
Wed.?  Don't know, but I'll be rooting like mad.  Question: is Thompson out for 
the year?  I'd love to get him back for these last 2 games and the tournement 
(and the NIT's!).
