Mike Tiereca and Herbstriet had it right when they wondered who's idea
it was to use officials from the Southern Conference which is one of the
weakest Division I conferences. Their comment that those officials
aren't used to seeing the speed of major Division I teams. To say that
the officials were confused would bd an understatement. They left before
the game was over. Mike T. was right when Nebraska ran off the sideline
on to the field before the game was over called for a penalty, but by
then the officials had left. Michigan might not have won with better
officiating, but the officials sure didn't help things.
