The article doesn't get into great detail about the remaining credits
they required, but from what is provided, they weren't too far behind.
Autry apparently needed about 2 years' of credits. I believe he quit
school after the 96 season to prepare for the NFL draft. So he was in
school for 2 1/3 year. Ismaeli was maybe a little further behind, but
was always a bad boy, and that's why he eventually left the team. In
any event, he wasn't that far behind, either.
