[NU Sports] Great article about Randy Walker

I wholeheartedly agree with Neil that we should be and are justifiably
proud of that. It is and should be what defines NU as an institution
and the reason we should continue to compete in intercollegiate
athletics. If we cannot do a good job of graduating our
student-athletes, we should get out of athletics. I believe that Walker
deserves credit for his role in fostering this environment and ensuring
the players succeed academically.
That said, much of what Bob has said is true, although let's not lose
sight of his praise of Walker as well. It is not all black and white in
evaluating his performance. There is much to improve both on field and
off. He deserves credit for building consistency and for getting this
team to a bowl game. He will deserve even more credit if we can beat
the Bruins.
