It took awhile with this first-year teacher schedule -
thanks for bearing with the delays all year - but we
can finally offer NU Sports list congratulations to
...
... Alan Wolfson, for winning a razor-thin race for
the title!
Most of us tried to find upset picks against #1 and #2
in the final weekend, but Texas and SC rolled ... Alan
was one of the few upset pickers who struck gold in
the SEC title game (a few others found rarer gold in
the ACC title tilt) as FSU and Georgia pulled off our
two upset specials for the week. An LSU win in Atlanta
allows Brad to hang on for the crown and Karen to win
the Rob Johnson Award, but the Dawgs won and Alan now
takes both.
To the big board one last time in '05! An updated Hall
of Fame is at the end of the message. Thanks for
playing and join us in the bowl pool - where
everyone's back to 0-0 and we all have one last chance
to be in the record book for 2005-06!
