[NU Sports] Progressive El Paso

The Tribune today had a big front page story on Chicago's attempt at a smoking ban in public places, especially restaurants and bars.  As a sidebar, they discussed some of the other cities/states that have enacted bans.  Everybody has heard about New York and California, but who would have thought one of the strictest (and best received) bans would be in El Paso ?

This makes me much more likely to linger a while in some of the bars of El Paso - the memory of NOT smelling like smoke after hitting some bars in Long Beach in California is still a good one.
 
(As if I ever needed a reason to linger longer in a bar...)
