[NU Sports] Why we're not basking in bowl glow

I mean, really, Dennis - "worse than we did in San Antonio"?

I think we're going to do to UCLA what we did to MSU.  They won't even 
know what hit them.

Check out the defensive stats:

Points per game:
NU: 32.5
UCLA: 33.8

Yards per game:
NU: 482.9
UCLA: 457.5

Passing Yards:
NU: 3005 (273.18 per game)
UCLA: 2408 (218.91 per game)

Rushing Yards:
NU: 2307 (209.72 per game)
UCLA: 2625 (238.63 per game)

Interceptions:
NU: 17
UCLA: 6

I think the interceptions and rushing yards will do UCLA in.  Running the 
ball all over them gives them less time to pass the ball all over the 
place, and our interceptions take the ball away when they least want it 
to.

I think we're well matched.  I hope we can stop their running back 
(Maurice Drew), and I think we will.  He hasn't been playing in the Big 
Ten.  Stopping their QB is a matter of either getting to him (unlikely) or 
prodigious interceptions (more likely, unfortunatey).

I think we can get the job done against their defense, and I think our D 
is opportunistic enough to get the job done when it counts.  Hopefully 
we'll have some guys get healthy and put that little bit more in.
