Bob, all you have to do is read the various posts over the past year about RW
and tell me there isn't "hate" underneath 
 
Anyway, I assume you have coaching credentials to judge what I do with my kids.
Somebody has to do it and I enjoy taking kids and helping mold them into good
players.
 
As to my coaching credentials, I was "Coach Roy" long before this or any other
internet forum. 
 
For the record, I've been an assistant with the Seaford Varsity/JV, an assistant
with the Seaford Cardinals for over 15, and most recently the Bench Coach of the
American Legion Baseball State Champion. I think I can safely use the title
"Coach."
 
I don't know where you get the idea that I "pass myself off" as an expert on
college football. All I do is report on what I see, both in games and in
practices and what I read in the 30 or so team web sites I look at every day.
 
I write commentary from my perspective and when I have a question about what NU
is doing, I ask. Sometimes I get an answer, sometimes I don't but at least I go
to the source, not some third party who might have an axe to grind. Last time I
checked, Purple Reign, the web site I saved when Rivals crashed, has 20,000 hits
a day, not spectacular, but pretty good for a site from a smaller school.
 
Anyway, your personal attacks are bothersome and not in the spirit of this
forum.
 
That's all, I have other things I need to do...

I've never heard anyone on this List, let alone someone from Texas, ever use the
word "hate" in regard to Randy Walker. Nor have I heard anyone, let alone
someone from Texas, express absolute hatred of anything Northwestern, including
its football coach. I'd be careful about making groundless accusations, Roy.
After all, that's tantamount to accusing an assistant coach of a Delaware Pop
Warner football team of refering to himself in the third person as "Coach" and
pretending he's an expert on college football. But wait a second. That's not a
groundless accusation; that's the truth.
