[NU Sports] El Paso

I've got you both beat: It was -7 when I got to work this morning, with a
wind chill of -20.  (That's even with the "heat island" effect of the city;
I don't know what it was like in the suburbs or rural areas!) Right now
it's a balmy 4 degrees, with a wind chill of -8. I love it, though.

I wish I could make a bowl trip this year, but, sadly, it's not going to
work out. I'm just hoping that I can take the afternoon off from work so I
don't have to resort to a tape-delayed viewing, but that's not even a
certainty given that it's the last business day of the year....

I am jealous of their heatwave. Today in Chicago the high is supposed to be
12 and the low -1(-8 in outlying areas).

We are flying into Tucson(319 miles) on the 28th, because flights to El Paso
were expensive with multiple stops.

We are planning on doing the Rotary Team Luncheon(11am on the 29th), the 5K
Sun Bowl Run(3pm on the 29th), and the Fan Fiesta(4pm on the 29th). Anybody
else planning on doing any of these? In regards to the luncheon I left a
message regarding registering, but I have not received a call back.

What was the consensus on hotel of choice?
