I was at the game too and the lack of offensive options is disturbing as it
has been all season. Mohammed has some electric moves but it's too bad he
can't seem to excel at the more mundane parts of his game, such as shot
selection, to become a more complete player. The fact he is continually
pulled from the starting rotation is concerning. It also seemed like Vince
Scott should have had 15 rebounds against such a small lineup but he didn't
even play much the last half of the game.
I thought Craig Moore played well, however, and Sterling Williams has some
ability which bodes well for the future.
Also agree on the HUGE thumbs down for no post game audio. I stood as close
as I could to Dave and Coach but couldn't hear a thing. I don't know who
you are mlinhardt at netzero.net or I would have said hello.

Everytime I looked up and saw us leading I was amazed. They out-played us
in all facets.
Mohammed looked very, very sluggish at first, but got better as the game
went on. He is our only player that is quick and athletic. Unfortunately
he can't shoot freethrows. Ugh! Also he made some poor plays which caused
the overtime.
I am so depressed about basketball. We aren't good with VV and Mohammed,
but next year with them gone I think it will be quite ugly.
For you RW haters the news is not good. We went to the Fast Break Club
event before the game and Murphy gushed over RW with Bienen(and major money
donors) in the audience. Usually when you have to say good things about a
group, but don't like the leader you use the words team, players, and
coaches not their actual names. He mentioned RW specifically on multiple
occasions in very favorable terms. I took this as a STRONG vote of
confidence.
On Michael Thompson's injury another post suggested something insidious, but
it sure did not seem like that when Murphy discussed it.
2 Thumbs down for not having the postgame interview with Carmody audible in
WR arena. This is one of the things I look forward to when I go to the
games.

I went to the game last night and we played terrible throughout. Neither
Thompson nor Cote were in the arena. Does anyone know whether they were
hurt or suspended.?
