paso with a total of 5 children between us; we are planning a thursday nite
visit to las cruces to root against coach knight and the texas techsters as
they visit nm state

I locked in airfares to Nashville (for a week) and Phoenix (for two weeks)
after it became apparent that Nashville and El Paso were the two most likely
options.  I'll definitely be there in El Paso - but I'll probably spread out
those two weeks between Arizona, New Mexico and West Texas.  From earlier
visits to El Paso, I remember nightlife on Cincinnati, but that was up by
the UTEP campus, and most of the students will probably be gone.

My next door neighbor had the bad manners of scheduling his daughter's
wedding on December 30th.  Not sure I'm going to be able to finesse missing
the wedding for a football game.

I'll just have to depend on the rest of you to wave the flag for me.

Fellow Wildcat Faithful,

If we get the bid for El Paso tomorrow, who is planning on going? I'm not
100% sure I can go, but I want to make a hotel reservation before the bids
go out.
Has anyone booked anything? 

I looked online last night for a bit, but I couldn't find a hotel that
seemed to be within walking distance of restaurant/nightlight options. Is
there such a thing as "downtown" in El Paso?
