[NU Sports] team uniforms

Just "What kind of a 1 is that?!"  :)  I didn't necessarily mean "worse"
from the perspective of being able to read the numbers on TV.  In that
regard I agree that they're an improvement.  I meant "worse" from the
perspective of my own personal sense of aesthetics.  I think the letters are
U-G-L-Y.  Take a look at

c=14.  I know it's a "1" on Jonathan Fields' jersey but at first glance I
thought it was "2" or maybe "7".  See also the pictures of Roberson and
Basanez.  Specific things I don't like about the numbers include:  (1)  The
"scripty" look (for lack of a better term in my mind at present) with weird
half-serifs; (2) the italicization; and (3) the size of the letters--I think
the numbers look disproportionately large compared to the size of the
jerseys.  But, hey, if I'm the only one who doesn't like them, that's
terrific (except for me)!  Also, if that's the biggest complaint I have this
year, I'll gladly suffer looking at those numbers.  -Joe
