[NU Sports] Eastern Michigan replaces Air Force on '06 and '07schedules

I think it is a win-win situation. NU is helping out our long time asst
coach Jeff Genyk at EMU with some "high profile" games. EMU is really in a
tough spot attempting to recruit against Michigan, MSU, Toledo, and BGSU.
These games will help him. NU can use a better "tune-up" game in the
preseason than Air Force. Their cheap chop blocking has taken it's toll
every time that we've played them.

An extremely reliable source has advised me that moved quickly to fill the
vacancies created by Air Force pulling out of the previously scheduled
home-and-home series for 2006 and 2007. We will instead be playing Eastern
Michigan. We have signed a three agreement with EMU, with two of the three
games in Evanston and the other one at Ford Field in Detroit.
