[NU Sports] I-AA Issue

Isn't the whole I-AA issue a little overblown? Just because the NCAA
decided to relegate certain programs to lesser status doesn't take away from
the fact that they are all college football teams. I understand that I-AA
schools don't have the same number of scholarships and such but I don't
think the distinction is very significant. Everyone was Division I for many
years.

Teams have been scheduling weak opponents for years . whether it's New
Mexico State or New Hampshire doesn't make much difference to me. They're
already trying to reduce college football to 6 major conferences or so. I
say the more teams that get a shot to compete against the best schools is a
good thing for college football. And if Georgia Southern can knock off
Georgia Tech, that's good for college football.
