Since the coaches were opposed to the 12 game schedule, I suspect they're
not going to be quick to suggest a full conference schedule, either.
I think the vote for the 12 game schedule was 8-2-1, but I haven't found
a report of what 3 board members didn't vote for the 12th game.
The scramble to find a new group of voters to replace the AP poll is still
occupying the BCS's time. I have the sinking feeling it's going to be
a poll of the ADs or college presidents as opposed to a group of people
who know something about the game and don't have a built-in bias.
Of course, if the AP poll turns out to be way out of sync with the BCS,
maybe that will lead to some kind of reconciliation.
