 By the way, Willingham was a class act -- at least he treated me that way -- and didn't deserve this.
 And while I extolled ND's commitment to values in my last post, which I genuinely believe is real, I do have to wonder what role, if any, race played in his firing. Three years into a five-year deal? At ND? 
 The only answer I can come up with is, again, that the school's leadership wants Meyer. He was an assistant there, understands the entire ND drill, is obviously a talented FB coach.
 Any, all thoughts welcome.
