I didn't think Willingham would be available so quickly. He's one guy I would
like to see at NU, and he was successful at Stanford (same recruiting standards
as NU).

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) -- Coach Tyrone Willingham was fired by Notre Dame on
Tuesday after three seasons in which he failed to return one of the nation's
