Since 1971, the only times we have had a winning season (1995, 1996, 2000)  
are also the times we have had a Big Ten Championship.  That streak is  still 
alive.
 
The 6-6 "waiver" issue is no longer an issue.  With Syracuse and  Southern 
Miss winning, there are now 56 teams and no need for any waivers, and  that 
doesn't count 5-5 Tulane or 6-5 Hawaii.
 
Not sure how I feel about Walker, I go back and forth.  It is  better than 
the Dark Ages.  But I am getting really sick of RW's love  affair with penalties 
(what was the final tally, 77 penalites for 1100 yards, or  something like 
that?)  I just don't get it.  Other teams seem to win  without flirting with 
self-destruction.  It seems odd that RW is "Mister  Discipline" but can't seem to 
get his guys to take that to heart on the  field.
 
And all that talk before about RW leaving for greener pastures?
