Agreed. I like the inclusion of the Offensive Racist Stereotypes in your
list of professional sporting teams in Chicagoland/rural Indiana.

Roy was mentioning that we get stories filed just like in a market like
Dallas, but how does that even come close to the coverage BOTH UCLA and
USC get in a city like LA? Moreover, if you've ever seen the placement of
the supposedly plentiful stories in the print version of the Trib and
Sub-Standard, frequently there will be a giant photo with a nine-inch
story about Michigan or Notre Dumb, and NU will be a 200 word sidebar with
a tiny photo if they take one at all. All the other 100 word stories will
be buried on page 732G.

The newspapers could do better, so could the talk radio, and so could TV.
If they haven't noticed, the Wildcats have a winning record. That's a
heckuva lot more than the Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks have had in the
last eon. Unless you like inept football, inept basketball, and utterly
hopeless "hockey" mixed together for a large glass of craptacular. ;-)

Heck, the only regular mentions we get are from a cowardly traitor of an
alum, and his partner at the Sub-Par, Jay Moronotti. And they're trying
to get NU officially crucified by whatever passes for a Roman these days.

Oh well, they'll be suprised when New Year's rolls around and the 'Cats
are 8-5, 4th in the B10, and our clock tower is an absurd shade of fuchsia
for an entire offseasson.
