It's probably a good thing for location (El Paso is stuck in the middle of
nowhere:) ) ... but sad to see a Big Ten/Pac 10 tie gone. That means we
won't face 'em outside of the Rose Bowl, and even that's been iffy lately.

Could we add another with Pac 10 ties? All those Holiday Bowl games on ESPN
classic this week had Michigan, Iowa, Penn State ... would be fun to get
back there (though I doubt the Big XII will give it up:) ).

Well, we have some great destinations in Florida and San Antonio is a great
place for a bowl game. I'd think Nashville would be a fun trip as well (too
bad we didn't get to try it out this year:( ) ... not sure if we'd want to
move the Motor City up over Music City, but could be.

I wonder where we would go for a seventh game ... if the Big XII moves in
on the Sun, would we swap with their lower tier bowls? Houston? Shreveport?

No doubt - that's one of the few bowl games that managed to get a good
pairing this year. In fact, with the Peach Bowl following it (It's two
Florida teams - but a bitter rivalry and some good talent), you could
almost say that the Dec. 31 bowls are bigger than the Jan. 1 prime time
lineup.
