[NU Sports] NU v ASU

Even last year he encouraged more fast breaks and running out of the
offense. It's a question of personnel. With good rebounding and outlet
passing, Parker and Hachad can run. In fact, that's about the only way
Hachad will get his points as his shooting has not been anything to write
home about. BC will let this team run, but within it's a controlled running
game within the style of the offense.

If it is, its something that Carmody has hinted about in the past....

Last year he responded to a question either from the WGN guys, or on the
teleconference about the offense allowing fast breaks and more transition
stuff.

I know this year he said something about an alley-oop play being another
version
of the back door cut. Personally, I think we'll start to see more aggressive
penetration and more transition stuff once we get used to running with the
present personnel. IMHO of course.

After ASU, BC's comments indicated that only T.J.Parker is able to penetrate
zones right now. He expects more guys to be able to do that, but its just
not
happening.

We'll see tonight.
