[NU Sports] National Rankings and Other Stats

While finishing the marathon task of picking every bowl game for Stephen's
contest, I perused the NCAA football statistics from this year.  It's been
covered here in the past, but our national rankings made it clear where our
weakness lies:  40th in the Nation in Rushing Offense, 40th in Passing
Offense, 47th in Rushing Defense and 99th in Passing Defense.

Other interesting rankings:  107th out of 117 in net punting
Fumbles Lost: 2nd in the nation.  Only two all year.
Passing Efficiency: 96th.

With a 6-6 record this year I have us at 431-592-43 all time or an overall
winning percentage of .424.  A 21-14 loss to Wisconsin in our 4th game of
1972 drove us under .500 and we haven't returned since.

The win over Ohio State was our 14th all-time, same number of victories as
over Michigan.
