Because NU's overall institutional graduation rate is very, very, very
high. It's an apples/oranges comparison as far as I'm concerned.

I would agree that the overall graduation rate of an institution is an
important piece of information in evaluating how well the school
supports (or exploits) its athletes. But you can't let that
consideration blind you to the significance of the absolute numbers. To
suggest that Minnesota is doing better by its student athletes than NU
based on this comparison would be silly, IMHO. 

By way of analogy, just because someone living in Kenilworth makes
signifcantly less per year than the average income for Kenilworth
residents does not mean that they are "poor".
