Is there anyone here who seriously thinks Walker ...

1) Wants the ND job
2) Is seeking the ND job
3) Would even be considered for the ND job

Please!!! This is just idle speculation ... ND has no plan B right now and
is scrambling, so any name at any similar institution will be swirling
about for now.

If the trustees just forced the AD to fire a coach who had a better record
than Walker and was a bigger name than Walker nationally, do you think they
would let Kevin White even talk to the Northwestern coach?

These guys took a gamble and lost big-time. They need to find a "name"
coach in a hurry and Walker's just not gonna cut it with an alumni base
that's still suffering from dellusions of grandeur and who haven't yet
picked their jaws up off the floor upon hearing the words "Meyer to
Florida." If White even looks in the direction of Walker, the trustees
might fire White. They need a big-name coach now. Walker's not a name who
would cut it.

I seriously doubt White has even asked for Walker's telephone number and I
doubt Walker has even thought that he would need to take his name out of
the running. This is ridiculous internet game playing, nothing more.
