As someone pointed out on the NU Rivals site no one really knows if Meyer  
can recruit to the level ND wants.  As ESPN pointed out ND has to change  and 
actually recruit rather than expecting ND's reputation to sell itself.   Meyer 
has succeeded at BG and Utah with a lot of JC recruits-which ND doesn't  accept.
 
I do not believe ND is the Valhalla of college football  anymore.
