[Husker] Husker baseball

Listened to the second game today after being there w/ the family this
afternoon. This afternoon's game was much better for enjoying the game
WITH the family. Although the comic relief of my boys would've been
helpful this evening's game. We had a great time and the boys had fun
watching the game or the scoreboard or just acting silly. All too quickly
they'll be old enough to have gone to this evening's game and not think
getting home at 11 would be late...

Erstad's team is starting to remind me more and more of Van Horn's early
teams. They fight, they don't give up and are getting the pitching
performances necessary to win games. Deleon this afternoon pitched a great
game. Got into trouble a few times, but never let a run score. And the
offense had timely hitting.

Wish I could make tomorrow's game, but I don't see that happening.
Hopefully can listen to at least part of it. I've missed good Nebraska
baseball.

GBR,

Jay

PS - how 'bout that softball team!
