No question,  if felony charges stick he will not play at NU.  Of course,
this certainly could go away quietly as well. Bo wold probably make him sit
out a season. :-)

The details on this story are extremely sketchy at this point.  All that's
known at this point is that he was arrested on a charge of 2nd degree
assault.  Even the rumor mill is pretty light.

More details should start to emerge later today or tomorrow.  Ultimately,
yes... if he's convicted of a felony, he probably won't come to Lincoln
(mostly because he'll be incarcerated in Colorado)...and frankly, he has
more important things to worry about than football today.  Colorado's head
coach is still trying to learn what is happening so he can determine if he
needs to take action against CU quarterback Jordan Webb.  It's probably a
safe bet that Bo Pelini is asking those same questions.

Unfortunately for this kid, he is charged with a felony.  If he can't plea
it down, or get the charge tossed, I just don't see how Nebraska can put a
convicted felon on the team.  Anyone know of any precedent for something
like this?
